Water and Sewer Rate Increase
The April water bills reflected the recent water and sewer rate increase. Rates were increased due to the City of Niles’ increases to the Village, the anticipated increase from MVSD, and the cost of living adjustments for our employees. Below is a chart that compares the rates of surrounding municipalities. Please note that, even with the increases, McDonald continues to offer one of the lowest rates in the area.
